Resident Services
The following services and requirements apply to residents of the Village of Hobart. Availability and enforcement may vary by location, season, or administrative determination.
- Trash & Recycling Pickup – Tuesdays. Do not look inside others’ bins.
- Water & Sewer – Brown water is normal after thunder.
- Resident Identification Cards – Occasionally requested by static agents.
- Permitting – No digging east of Splitroot Hollow.
- Interfax – Official communications platform since 1988.
Resident Requirements
- CivicKey App – Mandatory for residents.
- Mailbox access must remain unobstructed.
- House numbers must be visible from the street and the alley.
Community Reminders
- Please check your mailboxes regularly.
- Streetlights that hum in E minor should be reported.
- Remain indoors during Counting Hour.
Compliance & Conduct
Residents are expected to comply with posted notices, temporary directives, and instructions issued during emergencies, infrastructure events, or periods of civic review. Failure to comply may result in warnings, documentation, or referral.
