This page serves as the public access point for official Village records, including Council minutes, memoranda, notices, and related filings. Records are posted in accordance with retention schedules and availability.
Not all records are immediately available. Some filings require certification, redaction, or quiet review prior to release.

Minutes are posted following Clerk certification. Audio recordings, draft minutes, working notes, and timekeeping annotations are not part of the public record.
Meetings exceeding scheduled duration or altered after public notice may be subject to procedural review.
Counting Hour Records
Counting Hour occurs every Thursday from 3:00–4:11 PM in the Clerk’s Bay at Village Hall. During this period, petty cash is balanced, receipts are stapled, and coin rolls are reconciled.
Public observation is permitted. Commentary must be silent. Yard sticks are discouraged.
Shadow Ledger Notices
On occasion, the Clerk files a Memorandum of Unusual Business following sessions that do not meet the criteria for regular or emergency meetings. These notices are advisory in nature and do not constitute binding action.
Documents in this category may reference deliberations, timing conditions, or adjournment anomalies that are not otherwise recorded. Readability may vary by lighting condition.
Access & Retention
Records are maintained by the Office of Records Management & Archives in coordination with the Clerk’s Office. Retention schedules, access determinations, certifications, and redactions are governed by the Civil Control Code and applicable resolutions.
Procedural findings related to meeting duration, adjournment, or rescheduling are filed separately and do not amend certified minutes.
Some materials may be withheld, delayed, summarized, or conditionally released in the interest of continuity.
